La bougie de la joie \u2013 Dimanche Gaudete 3e<\/sup> dimanche de l\u2019avent<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alors que nous avan\u00e7ons dans l\u2019Avent, l\u2019\u00c9glise nous invite, au troisi\u00e8me dimanche, appel\u00e9 Gaudete<\/em>, \u00e0 allumer la bougie de la joie. Sa flamme vive et jubilante transforme l\u2019attente silencieuse de l\u2019hiver en une c\u00e9l\u00e9bration d\u2019esp\u00e9rance, o\u00f9 la promesse de Dieu \u00e9clate dans l\u2019all\u00e9gresse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le sens de cette bougie est enracin\u00e9 dans l\u2019esp\u00e9rance biblique : le Messie apportera une joie indicible. Le proph\u00e8te Isa\u00efe nous rappelle : \u00ab Le peuple qui marchait dans les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres a vu se lever une grande lumi\u00e8re \u00bb<\/em> (Is 9,2). Cette lumi\u00e8re pointe vers le Christ, joie incarn\u00e9e du monde.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Symboliquement, la cire repr\u00e9sente notre fragilit\u00e9 humaine : nous sommes faibles, mall\u00e9ables, et pourtant capables de donner de la lumi\u00e8re. La m\u00e8che, tiss\u00e9e des fils de nos vies, porte nos pri\u00e8res vers le ciel. Et la flamme constante nous rappelle une joie qui ne vacille pas selon les circonstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autour de cette bougie, nous d\u00e9couvrons que la vraie joie n\u2019est pas un sentiment passager, mais une confiance profonde dans la fid\u00e9lit\u00e9 de Dieu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En ce beau dimanche, nous c\u00e9l\u00e9brons d\u00e9j\u00e0 No\u00ebl, tout en attendant encore son accomplissement. C\u2019est un avant-go\u00fbt de la f\u00eate qui \u00e9clatera pleinement le matin de No\u00ebl.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
